Getti - Piccadilly

For starters we had a Walnut & Beetroot Salad and Minestrone Soup. The Soup was a good size starter. The generous portion was full of delicious chunks of vegetables.

I had THE best Lasagne at Getti for my main dish. It was crispy in the right places, meaty and full of flavour. A must for Lasagne fans!

Their Italian style Beef Wellington (which was a special on the day we visited) was also amazing. It is quite a skill to cook that type of dish correctly and Getti got it completely right. Very tasty. A big thumbs up from my steak loving husband too.

For dessert I had Tirimisu and hubby had the Strawberry Cheesecake which we both finished in 2 seconds flat! That tells you how much we liked both desserts! I found the Tirimisu deliciously rich and creamy, it had a lovely smooth texture too. I thoroughly enjoyed that dessert.

Authentic Italian cooking, combined with knowledgeable staff, made our visit to Getti a joy.

Maui Poke - Fitzrovia

Maui Poké have an amazing Beef Bulgogi Poké Bowl. Any fan of Korean Bulgogi (or Beef in general!) should check it out.

I have only tried cold Poké before, but Maui Poké's Beef Bulgogi served hot is a great idea, especially with the colder weather approaching.

Their Yuzu Salmon Poké is a generous portion and you get a free Miso Soup with every Poké bowl. Fantastic!

Chi Kitchen - Debenhams

After a shop on Oxford Street, I visited a wonderful Pan Asian restaurant located on the ground floor of Debenhams. With access through Debenhams department store or via the street entrance. They have a wide variety of dishes, from all over the Far East. I was spoilt for choice, with favourites from Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and China on the menu. I absolutely adored their Dragon Prawn Tempura Rolls. Lots of flavour and texture to the rolls and they were beautifully presented.

Yamagoya - Waterloo

Authentic Ramen at this cosy canteen style restaurant in Waterloo. They served the best Chicken Kaarage (Japanese Fried Chicken) outside of Japan in my opinion. Plus they had the elusive Raindrop Cake on their menu! Recommended for all fans of Japanese casual dining.

Chocofruit - Southbank Centre's Food Market

In Southbank Centre's Food Market there is a wonderful stall called Chocofruit. They cover pieces of fruit with delicious melted chocolate. You can add extras including marshmallows and chocolate balls.

We tried a whole banana covered in light, dark and white chocolate. Combined with mixed chocoballs, marshmallows, almond crunch and smarties. The melted Belgium chocolate went so well with the fruit - it was delicious! Plus the chocolate marble effect looked awesome!

L'ETO Caffe - Soho

With branches in Soho, Brompton, Fulham, King's Road, Mayfair & Belgravia. Plus 3 international cafes in Dubai & Doha. L'ETO has really grown since it opened it's doors 6 years ago!

We tried their Chocolate & Cinnamon Cake, Rose & Lychee Cake and Green Tea & Lychee Cheesecake. These were combined with a pot of their custom blend Peach, Elderflower and Mint Tea. My personal favourite was the Rose & Lychee Cake as it was so delicately flavoured and the tea was absolutely divine! Whatever your taste buds desire...There will be a cake for you!

Costa Coffee Boutique - Victoria

The coffee shop was founded in the 1970 by the famous Italian brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa. They take pride in delivering fresh, rich tasting coffee and breakfast delights.

I enjoyed a vegetable slice with my hot chocolate and hubby had a croissant with his mocha. The coffee shop is in a great location right by Victoria Station. It breaks away from the chain coffee shops providing a more honest coffee experience. I thoroughly recommend if you are in the area and need a pick me up!
