Gogi - Edgware Road

KOREAN DINING ❤️
Chic restaurant by Little Venice Canal

We went for their BBQ Gogi Special Platter with Bulgogi, Soy Chicken & Beef Ribeye cooked to perfection on the table. Spicy Salmon with Korean Hot Sauce. Scallops, which were plump and juicy. Korean Fried Chicken with Spring Onion and their delicious Kimchi Pancakes. I fell in love with their Plum Tea, which was a sweet cup of the good stuff!

This is a trendy date spot with the fun element of watching your food being prepared on the table - Korean style. Good for groups too, we all bond over meat being prepared!

Great service and a beautifully designed interior, this Korean restaurant really stands out. Definitely worth a visit.

Bar20 at Birleys - Fenchurch Street

This bar has the most amazing bar food - I mean, check out their beautiful Beef Tataki dish in the first photo!!! Great alongside a cocktail or two.....or three! The bar has an extensive drinks menu and is located just by the Walkie-Talkie building, making it great for after work drinks.

If you want a break from the alcohol, try their Virgin Mary - made with Tomato Juice & Bar20 Mixed Spices, which was FULL of flavour! Their Green Power mocktail - made with Fresh Kiwi, Lemongrass Syrup, Apple Juice & Soda Water was THE best non-alcoholic cocktail I have ever had!!!

If you are full stream ahead in time for Xmas, get down and experience all the fab alcohol Bar20 has to offer.

The decor of the bar has a regal feel with a modern twist. The best bar food in town and plenty of drinks to enjoy. It is definitely worth a visit.

Ibèrica - Canary Wharf

Hello TAPAS <3
I enjoyed a selection of wonderful tapas dishes at Ibèrica in Canary Wharf. Three of my favourite dishes are in the 1st photo: Patatas Bravas, Kale Salad with Chickpeas and Sweet Potato & (the amazing) Corn Torto Fritter with Pisto and Quail Egg

They have just launched their Autumn menu. I'm obsessed with Gavin's Garlic Prawns (5th pic down) - well done Gavin! And the hugely popular Corn Torto Fritters with Pisto and topped with Spanish Vegetable Ratatouille and Quail Egg. The 2nd pic down shows the Fritters in their full glory. Such a beautiful and delicious dish.

Dessert was epic with the Ibèrica classic -  Churros and Chocolate Sauce paired with the digestive Licor Cafè de Orujo. The flavour of the dessert was enhanced by the digestive. I thoroughly recommend this combo.

Also I tried the Pear Baked in Palo Cortado Sherry served with Hazelnut Ice Cream and Chocolate Ganache paired with an Apóstoles. Again the alcohol really added an extra dimension to the dessert!

Ibèrica served great food in a cosy and sophisticated atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.
